Hot Stuff

One of the longest-burning fuel range on the market. We have a range of four fuels, graded by burn-time:

2-Hours fuel.

Hot Stuff 2-Hours Chafing Fuel

Our first product is a methanol (methyl alcohol) gel; and it is HOT, HOT, HOT. Contents: 200 gms of purple gel. Remove lid, and light the gel. Minimum declared burn-time: 2 hours. Average actual burn-time, ascertained through a series of independent trials: 2 hours 21 minutes. Can be extinguished by resealing the cap. A skin will form in the remaining gel. To relight the gel, prick this skin in several places and apply a flame.

2.5-Hours fuel.

Hot Stuff 2.5-Hours Chafing Fuel

We do not have huge stocks of this yet, because the gel fuels of a similar burn-time are vastly more popular and - frankly - are still much more competitive, despite the recent fluctuations in fuel raw-material prices. However, we are confident that this product will have its day. Certainly, it is ideal for room service, Fondue, a possibility.

This product burns with exactly the same heat as the 6-hour product but, remember, that the tin is slimmer and, therefore, the flame is slightly further away from the bain marie. If this is a problem, e.g. if you need the flame closer for the extra heat, we have an adaptor to raise the burner the requisite amount: please ask.

6-Hours fuel.
